July 2, 2005

The surf was four to six ... people on a wave. Good for those who ventured out in less than ideal conditions. Rumor has it that tomorrow will either be smaller, or improve with an incoming northwest swell. One of the more exciting events of the morning was the Club spiking reflectors into the dirt road to mark parking boundaries. Emergency vehicles have been hampered by enthusiast stockpiling their chariots three rows deep.

First Day of July

The morning drizzle and long waits between lack-luster sets discouraged all but the most dedicated (or surf starved). The parking lot was pretty empty. That may change dramatically by tomorrow.
